Mockingbirdblues

I'll be inactive for a while, and probably only posting sketches or story art for the foreseeable future, so sorry to anyone who was anticipating art I just don't have time.

I changed my username, so for anyone who's confused I use to be ShowGurl13 but since I don't see myself ever going back to HARPG art I decided this one is better suited to my current interests (:

One tidbit of extremely exciting news: I'm hosting an exchange student from France in October!!!! He/she (I don't know yet) will stay with me for two weeks (:

I'll also be cleaning out my gallery when I get the chance; keeping only my favorite HARPG pieces and such so please excuse it if it gets really messy these next few weeks.

Finally. Bah. This year was cruel guys
I have two weeks until I start working summer camp, so hopefully I can get some decent art done ^^

However, I'm not sure if I'll ever pick up my HARPG stable again :/ It was a phase, a phase that really helped me improve my art and my stories but I'm just not interested enough in it to keep up with all my horses any more... I don't think I'll delete anything, just kind of let the characters float around in their little world forever and ever and maybe draw them if they ever ask for it. So if there's a horse you're interested in, message/comment and I'll see if I can find it in my sentimental heart to part with it (:

So, what will I be working on this summer? here's a list:

1.) College stuff. Fun.

2.) My original story-in-progress, which I have temporarily titled Mockingbird (: I hope to get some of the first few chapters edited correctly so I can post them for anyone interested in reading them.

3.) Drawing lotsssss of Mockingbird art. I have a problem, these characters are too amazing and they want to be drawn allllllllllllllll the time.

And that's all I had planned DA wise, I'll be working a lot and trying to improve my riding so I can become more competitive and maybe get some scholarship money for riding at college, I'm also going to New Jersey for a week, and North Carolina for a week with NativeHorseStables to see the wild ponies

Hey everyone Thanks to those who take the time to read this, I know I've been pitifully inactive but Junior year is winding down and between school and Pepper I barely have time to breathe, let alone draw.
So, I have stacks and stacks of deviations waiting to be looked at and commented on, so sorry if I comment supperrrrr late on things

But! The silver lining is that I take a Digital Art class (a.k.a my sanity) at school now, so along with learning some really fun things I get to do someee art at least. Our last project of the quarter is due Thursday and I'll be uploading it here because I think it's lovely and I'm rather proud because it's so different from anything I've ever done before.

Spring break is next week (yay!!!) but don't expect much, HARPG inspiration has been so low lately, I'm not sure what I'm going to do with my stable anymore... all well, anyways, I hope everyone is well and I can't wait to look through all the pictures I have sitting in my inbox

First off, sorry for the inactivity, I promise I'm not ignoring you guys (especially you Zephyrra I LOVE! my Christmas gift!! but I haven't had time to comment on it) but my Mid-term exams started yesterday *dun dun dunnnnn* so I spent every day last week studying from 3pm until 11pm to prepare xD I have three more exams, so I still won't be on too much But I'm hoping to be able to finish something I started last night soon (:

In other news....
I'm 16 now! Yayyy xD And for my birthday my mom took NativeHorseStables and I to New York City to see War Horse on Broadway!!! It was the most incredible thing I've ever seen in my life! The actors were so spectacular, and the effects were breathtaking, and the puppets they used for the horses were amazing!! Camra and I both read the book, so we knew who was going to die but I still felt like crying through the entire second act We decided that the next costume class we do we're going to dress Dr.Pepper and Lucas (Camra's horsie, a.k.a Dr.Pepper's bestttttt friendddddd andsoulmate.) as Joey and Topthorn because they really are xD
